DTD_engineering_stainlessOriginally established to provide a specialty Stainless Steel service to the Pulp / Paper & Food industries; DTD’s backbone specialty still remains Stainless Steel Products ranging from Pipework through Water Purification Plant to the most complex of Pressure Vessels.

For this purpose we have a dedicated Stainless Steel and Aluminium shop to prevent contamination with Carbon Based Products.

This workshop is equipped with the most efficient equipment including:

  • Submerged Arc Welding
  • Mig, Tig& Oxy welding equipment.
  • 200 tonne hydraulic brake press.
  • Guillotines to 3000 x 12mm plate.
  • Plate rolling to 3000 x 16mm plate.
  • Plasma cutting.
  • Pipe and tube bending.
  • Beam cutting saw.
  • Precision cutting saws – Capacity up to 300mm diameter.
  • Punch and Crop to 25mm.
  • Overhead shop crane facilities – 3.5 to 10 tonne.
